Welcome to The Coaches Calendar. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Coaches Calendar, a software service (the "Service") operated by Curious Work LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Virginia limited liability company located in Midlothian, Virginia.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
The Coaches Calendar is a scheduling, billing, and communication platform for independent coaches and the parents/guardians of their athletes (collectively, "users").
Curious Work LLC is the legal entity providing this Service. The Coaches Calendar is a product offered by Curious Work LLC.

To use the Service, you must:
Coaches using the Service are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate authority to manage their athletes' information, including obtaining parental consent when working with minors.
Coaches create an account to manage their clients, scheduling, and billing. Each coach's account is for their individual professional use.
Parents and guardians receive an invitation from a coach and create their own account to view their athlete's schedule and invoices.
You are responsible for:

The Coaches Calendar is offered to coaches as a paid subscription service. Current plans include:
Pricing is subject to change. We will notify subscribers of price changes at least 30 days in advance.
New coach accounts include a 14-day free trial. A valid payment method is required at signup. Your card will not be charged until the trial period ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged.
We may offer promotional codes that provide discounts or extended trial periods. Promotional codes have specific terms (expiration dates, usage limits, eligibility requirements) and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your provided payment method for the recurring subscription fee. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the subscription management portal accessible from your billing page. Upon cancellation:
All payments are non-refundable. This includes payments for partial periods following cancellation. Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases of confirmed billing errors or extended technical outages preventing use of the Service.
If your payment method fails, we will attempt to charge it again according to our payment processor's standard retry schedule. If payment cannot be collected, your account may be downgraded to read-only access or suspended until payment is resolved.
Parent and guardian accounts are free and do not require payment. Parents access the Service through invitations from a coach who has an active paid subscription.
You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
You retain ownership of any content you upload, create, or store in the Service ("Your Content"), including client lists, session records, invoices, and notes.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content solely as needed to provide the Service to you.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not violate any laws, contracts, or third-party rights. This is especially important when Your Content includes information about minors (athletes) and their parents/guardians.
While we take reasonable precautions to protect Your Content, you are responsible for maintaining your own backup of important data. We are not liable for data loss.
The Service itself, including its design, code, features, logo, and brand, is owned by Curious Work LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service while your account is active and in good standing.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee:

The Coaches Calendar is a tool to help coaches manage their business operations. It is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or business advice. Coaches are solely responsible for their business decisions, including invoicing, scheduling, cancellation policies, and customer communication.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CURIOUS WORK LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of:
